My name is Antony and I’m am a British-born Electrical Engineer living in Seattle. My past jobs include analog circuit designer, software engineer, and engineering manager. I’ve been a software development manager at Amazon Web Services since 2015, where I am currently lead engineering for the AWS Database Migration Service. Before that, I worked on AWS Lambda, and Amazon S3.

I’m passionate about technology, gadgets, rock climbing, chess and the piano. If you’ve read my blog you’ll also know that I’ve been using Arch Linux since 2008, and am a big fan of open source software. Some of my favourite open source projects include Linux, GNOME, Firefox, Android, mpv, and Stockfish.
